3.11 has shipped, hopefully well in time to be packaged for the
Debian freeze at month's end.

I anticipate shipping 3.12 around the end of the year. The top item on
my agenda for it is fixing the port problems that cause
misinterpretation of AIS Type 6 messages on mips and powerpc. Hal
Murray has a couple or requests for UI tweaks in gpsmon that should
get done as well.

Note: There *will* be a libgps library bump in the 3.12 release. In order
to resolve some issues due to bad design in the AIS standard, the
Type 6 and Type 8 unions need to hold a boolean 'structured' flag.
I have a couple other structure changes that have been queued up
waiting for something to force a bump; those will go in as well.

Commits are open.

When all government ...in little as in great things... shall be drawn to
Washington as the center of all power; it will render powerless the checks
provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive
as the government from which we separated." -- Thomas Jefferson, 1821
